More and more people are consciously paying attention to what ingredients are in their food and what values a product reflects. In the world of chocolate, too, origin, transparency and the question of vegan and halal-compliant recipes are playing an increasingly important role. At Rausch, we combine traditional craftsmanship with clear, traceable lists of ingredients - and many of our products are naturally suitable for demanding diets and lifestyles.
Vegan at Rausch
"Vegan" means that the product contains no ingredients of animal origin - including milk, butter, cream, honey and animal gelatine.
Our dark origin chocolates, i.e. all chocolates with a cocoa content of 60% or more, are vegan by nature, as they are traditionally made from fine cocoa, sugar and cocoa butter.
Halal-compliant at Rausch
"Halal-compliant" means that the recipe of the product does not contain any ingredients that are not permitted under Islamic regulations, in particular no alcohol and no unauthorized animal ingredients.
Products with milk are generally halal-compliant as long as no other critical ingredients are used.
