Soccer Fever Meets Cookie Delight
When the World Cup kicks off, the living room quickly turns into a mini fan zone. Jerseys are laid out, the match schedule is marked, and anticipation for great soccer moments is building. For the perfect snack to enjoy while cheering on the teams, homemade soccer cookies are a must!
These crispy soccer cookies bring the World Cup spirit right to your table. Light and dark dough create the classic soccer ball pattern, while melted Rausch single-origin cocoa chocolate makes for a truly special treat. This turns every game into a little celebration—whether you’re watching with family and friends or enjoying them as a sweet surprise during halftime. We’re cheering on Germany—with heart, passion, and, of course, cookies. Because good soccer deserves good chocolate.
INGREDIENTS
For the light-colored dough:
- 220 g flour
- 110g softened butter
- 60 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon ground vanilla
- 1 pinch of salt
For the dark dough:
- 200g flour
- 110g softened butter
- 70 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon ground vanilla
- 1 pinch of salt
- 25g baking cocoa
- 2 tablespoons milk
PREPARATION
1. Knead all the ingredients separately into a smooth dough. Then chill the doughs for at least 45 minutes. Next, shape both doughs into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
2. Arrange the individual balls so that they form the typical soccer ball pattern. Gently flatten them with a glass and remove any excess dough.
3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for about 12–15 minutes.
4. Let them cool briefly. In the meantime, melt our single-origin cocoa block (here we’re using 75% Costa Rica for the yellow of the flag ;) ) and spread the melted chocolate on the back of the cookies.
5. Perfect for enjoying the World Cup.
P.S. If you'd like even more chocolate, we recommend our minis in the flag colors.
